What a typical Gorebridge project looks like

A common job here is an end-terrace miner's cottage with a long back garden: the boundary wall at the bottom has lost its copings and started to lean, the path down the garden is cracked concrete, and the old coal store is falling apart. We rebuild the leaning section of wall on a new footing, re-bed the copings, take down the outhouse and lay a patio by the house with a new path to the bottom. On newer homes in Gorebridge and Newtongrange, it's more often a full new-build finish: patio, fencing and a second parking space.
