Bricklaying and Landscaping in Midlothian

Our home county. Patios, driveways, fencing, garden walls and slap throughs across every Midlothian town and village.

We're local bricklayers & landscapers in Midlothian, covering Loanhead, Dalkeith, Bonnyrigg, Penicuik, Gorebridge and the villages around them for patios, driveways, fencing, garden walls and slap throughs.

Midlothian is home. We're based in Loanhead, so almost anywhere in the county is within twenty or thirty minutes, and we see the same streets and the same kinds of gardens again and again. That local knowledge shapes how we quote and how we build.

What Midlothian gardens need

Midlothian rises from the edge of Edinburgh up to the Pentland and Moorfoot hills, so many gardens slope and the higher towns get more rain, frost and wind than the city. A lot of the ground is heavy clay, and the county's mining history means some older gardens have uneven or made-up ground. Add the thousands of new homes built in the last twenty years, most on compacted plots, and you get the jobs we do most: patios and drives built on a proper base, retaining walls and terraces, fencing on deep posts and drainage that actually works.
